There is a grandmother that
has taken in four of her grandchildren. She doesn't have beds for
them. Does anyone have any beds? We have a futon couch to be given to
this grandmother, but we do not have a truck to transport it. Would
anyone have a truck and be willing to deliver the couch to the
grandmother (she leaves in Eatonville). Call Teresa Scott 407-869-7380.

HUNGERFORD UPDATE:
Collecting change for Olive Garden's Pasta
for Pennies. As a Partner in Education with Hungerford Elementary
School, we are asked to help them achieve their $3,000 goal. This
fundraiser benefits Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Central Florida
Chapter. The fundraiser started 2/18/08 and will continue until 3/14/08.
Please begin to collect your change now. 5K fundraiser - Vicki
Felter, the PE teacher at Hungerford, is asking for 14 volunteers on
March 27 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Ten of the individuals will serve as
judges and we need four people to assist at the water stations. Place
this date on your calendar and let Teresa Scott know if you are
available. Continue to bring items for the Thrift Store. We are
filling up the storage area that Hungerford gave us for the Thrift
Store. Dates for the Thrift Store will be determined shortly and will be
announced here. If you would like to volunteer, contact Teresa Scott
once the dates are finalized.

HUNGERFORD UPDATE:
Thrift Store
- the school has room for us to store our donations for the Thrift
store. Please collect clothing (adults and children) as well as toys,
games, books and small household items. This is the first fundraiser for
the PTA at the school. Box Tops: Keep saving those box tops we
are already over $50. Thank you to all who have collected them. Food
Pantry: Please continue to bring food donations for some of the
families at Hungerford. We are giving a box of food each week to the
families that are visited by the school's parent advocate/social worker.
Thank you to the three volunteers that helped the art teacher get
her display ready for the Zora Festival in Eatonville this past weekend.
There are some wonderfully artistic children at our school. The next
book fair is not until the end of April. Keep in mind making a
monetary donation so we can get a new book in each child's hands. As
always there is a need for us in the classrooms. If you feel that you
are being called to participate in the Additions program call Teresa
Scott at 407-869-7380.
